TSO’s eCommerce solution
uses technology from Commidea,
the UK’s leading provider and developer of debit and credit card payment
processing systems and services.
The solution is fully secure with
information encrypted under Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and verified
under VeriSign
certification.
- All credit card, order details and account information is transmitted
through a 128-bit SSL session. This ensures protection against disclosure to
third parties and is compatible with the Government Gateway standard
- Current account status is verified in real time through the Vista
fulfilment system and re-verified once the consignment is ready for
despatch
- Credit and debit card payment is managed through Commidea’s ICP
and WinTI services. Encrypted data is securely transmitted to Commidea’s
servers and transactions are authorised in two to four seconds
- WinTI provides online authorisation managed through TSO’s
systems.
All data is stored in accordance with the
Data Protection
Act and best Internet practice and complies to ISO 20071:2005 Information Security
Standards.
