2008 Book Fairs

London Book Fair 14 - 16 April

The London Book Fair boasts a trade audience of over 23,000 and is the leading forum for booksellers, publishers, librarians and book production services worldwide. This year the fair takes place between 14 - 16 April and will feature an array of seminars and workshops – focusing primarily on Digitisation, Children's Books & Publishing, and Film & TV. There will also be special seminars for libraries highlighting how to organise events for children and analysing the supply of publications to libraries. TSO shall be showcasing the extensive TSO portfolio of products which includes the British Pharmacopoeia and OGC titles.

Frankfurt Book Fair 15 – 19 October

TSO shall also be attending the prestigious Frankfurt Book Fair between 15 – 19 October. This worldwide event will see over 280,000 visitors attend from various backgrounds including authors, publishers, booksellers, librarians and journalists. 2008 welcomes Turkey as the guest of honour with a planned schedule of seminars, workshops, concerts and film productions to please visitors from across the world. The fair will include continued efforts to promote and extend the work of LitCam (Frankfurt Book Fair Literacy Campaign) which aims for better education for all social classes across the globe. For anyone interested in films the Forum (Level 0) will be the meeting place for screenings, workshops and special shows and will provide opportunities for agents to pitch their material to film producers. TSO are looking forward to attending the five day event and shall be promoting an array of publications, including titles from the ITIL library and the latest edition of the British Retail Consortium’s ‘Global Standard for Food Safety’.
