We are a member of the following professional bodies:
Best Practice User Group is a support organisation for users of the OGC Best
Practice products,
PRINCE2™,
Managing
Successful Programmes and
Management
of Risk. The group organises workshops and conferences, represents users on
technical and examination boards and hosts the official Issues Log on its
website.
EPSG is a specialist group under the
umbrella of the British Computer Society. The
Group holds meetings on subjects of interest within electronic publishing,
including desktop publishing, digital imaging, multimedia and the web.
The International Government Printing and
Publishing Association is a non-profit making organisation. All members are
service providers to national and state governments.
PITCOM provides a forum for MPs, Peers, senior civil
servants, academics and ICT professionals to exchange information and opinions.
The Scottish Working Party on Official
Publications is a collaboration between libraries and individual specialists
within libraries to promote the resources in their collections. Their aim is
for members of the public to be more readily aware of the richness of the
information sources that are available to them across the country.
SfEP is a professional organisation based in the
UK for editors and proofreaders.
Part of the
Chartered Institute of Library
and Information Professionals (CILIP), SCOOP's aims include improving
access to and the availability of UK official publications.
The Booksellers' Association represents over 3,900 retail outlets, offering
a wide range of products and services which are all designed to assist members
in the smooth and efficient running of their bookshops.
The Publishers' Association is a trade
organisation serving book, journal and electronic publishers in the UK. It
brings publishers together to discuss the main issues facing the industry and
to define the practical policies that will take the industry forward.
The Stationers'
Company is a Livery Company of the City of London, closely connected with
the modern visual and graphic communication industries. Its associated
industries include printing, papermaking, packaging, advertising, design,
photography, film and video production and book, periodical and electronic as
well as newspaper publishing and production.
